Vermont to Medford Oregon. 80 or 90.

According to Google maps it's pretty much the same distance give or take a few miles. Is one route safer than the other? Does one have better access to rest stops, amenities etc? It's just going to be myself 61/f and my dog.

2025 Jetta. Plan on sleeping in car as much as I can. I've got a little bed for the back with the back seats folded down. I'm 4'11 so I fit pretty good.

Any other advice for my trip you may have I'd appreciate. I think I'm pretty well prepared though. Leaving in about a week.
