Barbour Jackets for Couples. Is it a thing again?

Saw this old (1991?) photo on my fridge. (Northumbria left & Beaufort right before you ask). I've had a few orders from couples recently and I'm wondering if the trend from the 80's is making a comeback. Does anyone else have any photos to either support or contradict this? Back in 1999 we had a dating section on the web site to get like minded equestrians together, maybe I should bring it back for lovers of Barbour????

Can anyone identify this skin?

This snakeskin has been hanging around in our workshop for at least a quarter of a century. I’m trying to revive it. Does anyone know what species of snake it is and what country it might have come from?

Barbour Classic Northumbria

I’m on a roll. Two videos in two weeks. I can’t believe I’ve never done a run down on the Classic Northumbria before. It’s a real family favourite. Pity I couldn’t find my Dad’s Northumbria from the 1980’s for comparison, but they do appear on this sub fairly often, so most people have seen the dark green woollen lined version.
I’m off to the London showroom today to buy in for SS27 - always an interesting trip. I’ll try to post if they show me anything exciting.

Barbour Hoods from @leathershopgirl

Thought things were a little quiet on here, so risked sunstroke by going out onto the shop roof to make an unseasonable Barbour hood video for your entertainment. 😁 The things I do for Reddit. Hope someone finds it useful.

Discontinuation of Warm Pile Stud-In Liner

After years of supporting the older studded wax jackets with the MLI0003 Warm Pile Stud-In Liner, Barbour has finally decided to cease production. This applies to Countrywear and International ranges. It's a pity, given the current appetite for vintage jackets.

You'd think I'd know better.

I have a wardrobe full of Barbour jackets and yet this morning, I stood on my front doorstep, took a look at the sky, and just as I do at least once a year, made the mistake of walking out into the Welsh countryside without putting one on. Rooky mistake. So much for, 'Cast ne-er a clout 'til May is out' - thanks Nanna.

Rookie Mistake!
