how to find compatibility for wider tires and wider wheels
I have a narrow tires ( 28mm wide or 28-406 and 28-559 to be exact ) on my two-wheeled recumbent Bacchetta Giro 20 . How do you find out how wide the tires can be installed on the bicycle rims?
Due to increasing harder to find road tires for 26-inch ( 28-559 ) , I'm thinking of getting wider tires and wheelset for my Bacchetta Giro 20 recumbent. What tires and wheels or rims do you recommend? I use my recumbent bike on mostly roads and rail trails that are concrete or asphalt in the New York City and outside of NYC area. Thanks in advance.
