Meeting of Minds
In the meeting of the great greaseball minds, did Carmine Jr mention Billy Leotardo on purpose to erupt a war between the early family of man of New York and the Farmers of Jersey?
My take is that Carmine, aka Brainless the second, didn't have any intent to cause dysentery among the families, but was rather going on and on (still going this asshole) About every single clash between New York and Jersey, and then eventually also Phil's poor 47 year old kid brother Billy who was mauled to death by an animal.
While I do like the theory that Carmine Jr mentioned it on purpose, I heavily doubt that it is true as it severely goes against the kind of character Carmine Jr is.
He is not a machiavellian, sheming, ruthless and cunning Gangster, but rather an empathetic, friendly and down to earth man who has truly understood how empty, and hollow Mob life and all its glamor really is. Him having said it on purpose to spite a war goes against his speech about his dream and his character arc.
But what do you guys think?
