Dont talk to me or my sons ever again

The first post about the left one leaking smoke was genuine cause the lid never seemed to sit correctly but it still worked for the past 3 years that ive had it. The newer one was given to me as a gift cause the original owner didnt know how to use it and didnt have enough space outside to use it as they lived in an apartment and had minimal outdoor space. The lid thermometer is pretty much useless imo so i did get an oven thermometer to fix that. Might do some jalapeno poppers on the new one. Wouldve done the ribs and pork butt on the new one but ive been having to work so having the pit boss on the side as well has helped a lot in getting that done. Id have to say though, the ragebait wasnt intentional until the second and third post

Didnt like how the weber read temperatures so I got this pit boss instead

Although the new weber didnt leak smoke the thermometer wasnt accurate during indirect set up /s

Smoke seeping out normal?

I know this is a dumb question but, I’ve tried doing a snake on this weber before and was never able to get my temps below 300 even with the vents barely open. This grill belonged to my girl’s parents. It has a dent which wasnt a big deal to me at the time but, now I’m wondering if this can affect temps to that degree. So, is it normal for smoke to seep out like that even with the lid closed? And are these lids supposed to fit snug on the grill?

Old M2’s at wally world

Someone must’ve found this hiding under a shelf for who knows how long. They still rung up the same price of the current M2 machines at 7.94
