I've just recently gotten into fanfic. It was this Andreil fic that finally convinced me to get an AO3 account, but then I couldn't find it again after I got the account. It was a recommendation from here, so I'm hoping someone remembers.

It was an Andrew POV, with 5-ish chapters. It starts with him having a vivid fantasy about facefucking Neil in the moonlight. The fantasy sends him into a bit of a spiral about how similar "forcing" Neil to take it was similar to the times he was forced. He works through it. The story was thoughtful and hot. Sound familiar to anyone?

I accidentally hurt myself. It didn't seem like a big deal at first, but it became a problem. (Gross details available in spoiler tags at the end). I'm mostly functional, I can walk, talk, and do a desk job, but sitting actively aggravates the injury. I've seen the doctor about it and he put me on antibiotics.

At home, I am on the computer for intervals, but when it gets too much, I lay in bed reading and change my bandages. I am dealing with minor but constant bleeding and staining, to the point of ruining clothes.

That is the dilemma. I have plenty of sick time and no urgent project deadlines. While I am technically functional, I want to avoid the hassle, pain, and potential embarrassment of going to work. Yet, I still feel the guilt that I "should" be there. I technically could do it. I've already been out of work for a week (I was supposed to go on a vacation, but I had to cancel because of this.) What should I do?
