Question about LECOM Secondary

I just have a question about LECOM's secondaries. Are there no essays and all, just the indicating if LECOM is a top choice or not and information abt test scores and disciplinary action?

Reapplicant Advice

Hellooo,

I really need some guidance on how to navigate this upcoming application cycle. My path has been super messy, but I’m doing everything I can to rebuild and could use some advice on how to approach these schools.

To give you the honest background:

  • After Dismissal: I went to a psychiatrist to figure out what went wrong and found out I have severe ADHD, along with anxiety and MDD. I’m medicated now and in therapy, which has been a complete game-changer.

Where I am right now: I’m reapplying right now for the entering class of 2027 (applying all DO). I’m reapplying to my original school since that might be my best bet, plus Burrell, VCOM, ICOM, LECOM (Erie & Bradenton), and IUP.

I submitted my primary in June and it just got verified. It’s July 3rd and I already have 4 automatic secondaries from Burrell, LECOM, LECOM-Bradenton, and my original school.

My questions for you guys:

  1. I really want my secondaries to be flawless. I’m seriously considering buying a consulting program or an editing service to help with my essays—I don't mind paying for it as long as it's not an outrageous price and will actually help a non-traditional app like mine. Any recommendations?
  2. Beyond writing amazing secondaries, how can I proactively contact or network with these specific schools to show them my growth and get them to consider me for an interview?
  3. Is there anything else I can possibly do right now to show these schools I’m ready?

I’m willing to do whatever it takes to achieve my dreams. Thanks so much guys!
