Is this considered a good distribution using the spread plate method, or is there a defect in the plating?

I'm new to the spread plate technique. In your opinion, is this distribution correct? If not, what do you think the issue is?

I moved the L-rod (spreader) in a circular motion while spinning the plate simultaneously during the spreading process. I also vortexed the Falcon tube for about a minute in an angled position

What causes the growth around the edges like this? The membrane filtration method was used. The forceps were dipped in alcohol and flamed, the funnel was flame-sanitized, and both the filter membrane holder and support base were disinfected by wiping them with alcohol
