how to play slide guitar like jack white?

i’ve always been inspired by jack’s cleanliness and artistic creativeness when it comes to soloing with a slide, my question is, how exactly does he do it? how does he know what to play?

more specifically, what can i learn to make me more familiar with the slide and to utilize the sound it creates to get closer to my own version of a jack white solo? there isn’t much help on youtube and i just want to know how to even progress to that level of playing.

specifically the ones that inspire me the most are:

jack white - it’s rough on rats
the white stripes - let’s build a home (live on conan)

edit: lol i already have a slide and know open a tuning but thank you haha!

▲ 2 r/drums

should i buy this for my first kit?

$150

“2 crash cymbals, 2 toms, floor tom, snare drum, kick drum/pedal, hi hat stand (hi hat cymbals not included), stool. All stands included. (NOT SELLING SEPARATELY)
The set is basically brand new with minimal head damage. The snare drum is actually pretty nice with a very punchy sound.
I can throw in an extra snare drum or tom if you want to pay $200. A Trying to get money for a higher end drumset.
I've tuned this set to the best of my abilities. It sounds really nice for a lower end drumset. Just selling it for space. Really great set for beginning drummers of all ages! (Percussion Plus Brand)”

help with deciding which PA route to go down

this friday i’m hosting a jam session with my buddy i’m starting a band with and this new drummer to see if he fits. what’s necessary for this? is PA necessary? i’m new to audio gear and stuff, and don’t own any type of PA.

should i try to do some kinda DIY thing for PA, should i get a budget PA system, should i just save up for a good PA? what PA should i get? i ask these questions because getting into the world of live sound for me has been difficult and isn’t very easy to navigate for me personally so i apologize if i’m scatter-brained.

anything helps, thank you.

how to replicate jack white’s guitar tone in “no name”

i just bought my boss katana 100 gen 3 the other day, i haven’t really dove into the software side of it because i’m more into just the physical knobs side of things for tone, but how can i replicate that natural crunch sound that he has on his amp on songs like “archbishop harold holmes” and “old scratch blues” on my katana? my current setup is literally just the amp and a big muff pi for when i want crazy fuzz lmao
