Sleep apnea, brain fog and chronic inflammation: has keto helped anyone else?

Hello all,

For several years now I've been dealing with sleep apnea, which led to weight gain, along with a noticeable decline in my cognitive performance. I don't think the weight was the original cause, since both problems started when I wasn't overweight, but they've since fed each other in a vicious cycle.

My best guess for the root cause is chronic inflammation. I've had allergies and sinus/breathing problems since childhood.

While researching, the one approach I kept seeing for all three issues was the keto diet. Quite a few people report that it reduced their inflammation, improved their sleep apnea, or sharpened their thinking.

Has anyone here been in a similar situation? If so:

What exactly did you do?

How long did it take before you noticed improvements?

Did anything help along the way, such as particular supplements?

Thanks in advance for any experiences you can share.

Disclaimer: I've already gone the medical route. I've seen several ENTs and sleep doctors, and I'm on CPAP. The problem is that my AHI won't drop below 10 unless the pressure is really high, and that high pressure inflames my sinuses further.

Aluminium work

Hello! So I've been renovating my home and removed some aluminium window and doors. These aluminium parts would fit in openings in the new part of the house but need to be reduced in size. I've been told it's possible but most of the professionals I've contacted are reluctant to do it, they're saying it's better to just put new ones. I don't see the reason why because the windows and doors are still in perfect state.

So do you know anyone who does aluminium work who will be willing to do that? I'm located in the center.

Ps. The project would include doing new windows and doors too, not just the reworking

Do you know if it's possible for one to go request a new birth certificate on behalf of their parents?

Planning our Thailand trip, need advise.

Hello. We are planning a 3 weeks trip for 2 to Thailand for the end of year, it's our first time traveling for both. We are from a tropical island, so beaches are not our priority, also we don't really want to fall for tourist traps.

Here's what we have on the list so far, Bangkok for food, temples and shopping, chiang mai for the nature and elephant sanctuary, krabi for a bit of the beaches.

What else would you suggest we add?

Which is better for accommodation, booking.com or Airbnb?

Tool renting companies in Mauritius.

Is there any tool renting companies here?

I need a tile cutter for a small project. Buying one wouldn't be smart as I wouldn't be using it after that.

How to fix the grout?

A guy just did the grout work in my new bathroom, but it very uneven. Some places it sits lower that the tiles and some it's nearly level. Also he left a lot of haze, he was supposed to come the next day, but he's been telling me he's had an urgency and can come. It's been two days now and I'm thinking of fixing it myself. But I never done that and have some questions. Can I add another layer of grout on the existing one (the lower sitting one). How do I remove the excess and haze which has been sitting for 2 days?
