Women's shelter for donations?

We have a lot of baby/toddler clutter from when our grandkid was young. Rather than sell or give away, I was thinking there might be shelters or like halfway homes that could use the items.

Any ideas where it may be needed so I can contact?

Edit to add - things like highchair, pack and play, toys, etc.

Peony scar coverup

39 years ago, when I was 15 years old, I was in a car accident and basically smashed out a window with my head. I’ve hated seeing this scar every day since. I love this tattoo. Cross your fingers for me that it heals well over the scar tissue.

Strange parking lot interaction

My husband and I went to the store earlier. We parked and he went to get my chair out of the back. A woman got into her car in the spot facing me while he was doing that, and she kept looking at me. I got into my chair and we headed to the store passing her car. She called out, “I had to wait and see what kind of chair you have. I will need one someday.”

The whole thing was weird to me. How would she even know I had a chair? Did she not see I had disabled plates on my car and had planned to scold me for parking there? No clue.

I’m not a person who likes talking to strangers either, but I always have people commenting on or asking questions about my chair. I hate it. I don’t mind comparing chairs it’s other users, but it is always people who are not using a wheelchair. I just think it’s weird.

Anybody else get these random encounters?
