My partner and I are currently searching for the perfect engagement ring for me, and I’d love some recommendations.

I’m especially drawn to Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian pieces, with an old mine cut diamond. I also love high crown settings with an delicate open gallery profile and a lot of antique character/detail. I’m open to an original antique ring or an antique diamond reset into a newer setting that still keeps that vintage feel.

We’re located in the New Jersey/NYC area, so I’d really prefer jewelers, estate jewelry shops, or dealers where I can view rings in person. Recommendations for trusted people in the Diamond District or even social media sellers/local dealers in the area would also be greatly appreciated.

We’ve also been debating whether to purchase an antique diamond separately and create a custom setting, but I’m really sentimental about owning a piece with original history behind it. Any advice on where to shop or recommendations would mean so much thank you!

I fear this topic is hard to come by as I read all of the mainstream books including The wolf king, drive by Kate Stewart, anything Ella fields, souls in ruin, trial of gods by Valkyrie Amani. Conform by Ariel Sullivan. Etc.

I really would love a dark romantasy book where the girl is torn between the villain and good guy. Or a love triangle that ends in a why choose. I listed some books l've read above so you get an idea of what I like to read but I'm open to anything really.

The spicier the better! Also if it's a bully romance that's a plus!
