Hi everyone, have a very specific situation I was hoping someone may have experienced before with AA. I have a flight connecting at PHL that is departing to YYZ. It is the last flight of the night to YYZ from what I understand, and the layover is only 48 minutes. I gather AA usually flies out of terminal F to YYZ, but my flight from SEA may be landing at terminal C or D I believe. Is this a reasonable layover time with a carry on bag only or should I reschedule?

I’m flying out of Billy Bishop in a few weeks and was hoping to use my Calpak Luka Duffel as my personal item. However, the width of this bag is 2 inches over Porters guidelines for a personal item (the height and length is within the allowance though). I’m flying on the dash 8 so im worried it will make a difference in terms of fitting under the seat or even being stopped at the gate. Can anyone shed some light on how strict they are with personal items?

Note, I will also have a carry on roller with me as well as I have the standard fare, not the basic fare with no carry on so not sure if that makes them less stringent than on those with the basic fare.
