Let me start out with Im very technical and work as a computer technician and when Volvo said $700 for a single key I went on a mission educating myself to do this at home with Vida. Ordered 4 $25 keys off ebay and 3 $5 tag style. Did it get out of hand, maybe but I was opening up the window to get into the computer for 3 days and it cost $80 to do it. In all $300 for my new 7 keys (I had 1 black and one orange) Also Im new to the Volvo family, just got her a month ago.

Front Alignment Question

Question, Do you take your volvo to a big brand tire shop to get the alignment done or is the dealership the place to go ??? Only asking cause I know bmw uses ballast like sandbags in the seats to have the calibration done, I don’t know if there is anything behind the scenes that is done.
