5400 Air and Lian Li HydroShift 2 - Fitment Issues

Hi bought a 5400 Air yesterday and I'm really happy with it, however I'm not happy with how I've had to fit the radiator.

It seems the metal plate, which holds the chip, cables and pump hose in place gets in the way of the USB ports and the plastic air guide. I've managed to squeeze it in, but the rad and fans now sit low and part of it is covered by the bottom of the case.

Has anyone else used this combo and managed to overcome the issue? I've only just got the AIO and I don't fancy buying a new one.

Return to Team Green

After a year of the 9070 XT, which did a great job, I’ve bought myself an Astral 5080. My first NVIDIA card since my old 3070 FE.

The Astral was the only card on the market that I preferred to my outgoing Nitro+ 9070 XT.

I’m really impressed with the card so far. Any advice for a new 5080 owner?

9070 xt Driver Timeout since adding an extra monitor

Hi, I bought an UW monitor to replace my 4K monitor for gaming but wanted to use the 4K monitor as a second screen for Discord/Web whilst I'm gaming.

Since adding the 4K monitor, I'm getting driver timeouts which causes my UW to be locked at 60hz, rebooting the computer solves the issue, but it's not ideal mid game. Technically the 4K monitor is 3rd monitor as I also have a Xeneon Edge in widget mode.

I've tried to disable HDR and lock the 4K monitor to 60hz to save bandwidth, but this hasn't helped. The GPU driver is 26.5.1 but I did have issues on the previous driver. I can't remember the revision number, but it was the most recent driver release before the current driver.

The problems stop as soon as I stop using the 4K monitor.

Edit: The UW is plugged in to DP, the Xeneon Edge is plugged in to HDMI and the 4K monitor is plugged in to HDMI.

My setup for reference (unsure if this helps)

9800x3d (small undervolt)

Sapphire Nitro 9070 xt (stock settings)

32GB DDR 5 6000 CL30

Lian Li Edge 850w Gold PSU

Alienware AW3435DW Monitor

MSI MAG 321UP Monitor

Thanks in advance.

I'm having this issue with my Xeneon Edge where after 2 minutes my displays try to sleep and I get the usb disconnection sound, followed by the reconnection sound and my displays come back on. I've worked it out to be the XE by unplugging it from power and leaving my pc until the screens turn off. There's no sounds and my monitors will sleep.

I've tried switching USB ports on the motherboard and that hasn't helped.

My set up is the XE is powered using a USB C port on my motherboard with video signal coming from my GPU.

Motherboard is MSI Tomahawk B850 Max WiFi and my GPU is a 9070 XT (in case this information is required).
