Does "count twice" mean I score another 13 points?

Does "count twice" mean I score another 13 points?

The Western Yellow Wagtail says to "count this bird twice for every objective it qualifies for."

In my game, it looks like it qualifies for 13 points. Does that mean I score 13 points normally and then another 13 because it counts twice (26 total)? Or is the 13 already accounting for the ability?

I attached a screenshot in case I'm missing something obvious. Thanks!

20+ years later, I finally got the Halo Edition Xbox

As a kid, this was the Xbox I could only stare at in magazines and online photos.

Today I finally brought one home.

I Flushed a Girl’s Car Keys After She Mocked Me at a Party

Back in 2009, when I was 17, I was at a party and after using the bathroom I accidentally got a small pee stain on my beige chinos. One of the girls noticed and started whispering to her friends. They kept looking at me and trying not to laugh. I pretended not to care, but I was completely embarrassed.

A buddy of mine later confirmed what I suspected: they had been talking about it and laughing behind my back.

Later that night I noticed the same girl had left her car keys on a table. In a moment of immature teenage revenge, I slipped them into my pocket.

After the party, everyone went for late-night tacos. While there, I went into the bathroom and flushed her keys down the toilet.

Nobody ever saw me do it, and nobody ever found out it was me. I remember her being stressed about losing them, but I kept my mouth shut.

Looking back, she laughed at an embarrassing moment and I responded by doing something much worse. At 17 it felt justified. At 34, it just feels petty and mean.

I’ve never told anyone this, and every now and then I still feel guilty about it.

EDIT: This blew up way more than I expected, so here are a few extra details and some context people keep asking about:
The party was mostly outside, but people were still hanging out inside (playing jenga and some card party games)
When “Holiday Inn” by Pitbull came on and people went outside to dance, I peregrine-falconed those keys and impulsively grabbed them.
The keys were for a Toyota Camry.
To make this worse, I helped her look for them afterward.
I threw them in the bathroom because I was a bit paranoid that they were going to search my pants.
Her brother eventually picked her up in a Honda Odyssey after the taco stop.
I still don’t know if the keys made it through the plumbing. The sewer system may have been the real victim.
Yes, I’m a male.

Digital Crown fell off and won’t stay attached — any fix?

My Apple Watch’s Digital Crown literally fell off today.

I can press it back into place, but it won’t stay attached and falls off again almost immediately. The crown itself doesn’t appear damaged, and the watch was working normally before this happened.

Has anyone dealt with this before? Did Apple repair it, replace it, or is there some way to fix it myself?

Model: Apple Watch SE 44mm

Finally hit a new PR in Duet mode against AI hard and had to share.

Ended at 194 points, just 6 points shy of 200.

Pilated Woodpecker + Wood Duck + Northern Mockingbird is a very strong combo, and I got lucky with good bonus cards. Since I had a lot of extra food toward the end, Eurasian Collared-Dove and Australian Raven converted that really well into points.

Bonus cards:
Platform Builder – 7 pts
Ecologist – 10 pts
Passerine Specialist – 3 pts
Fishery Manager – 8 pts
Cartographer – 7 pts

Hi everyone,

Sharing my experience in case it helps someone.

I’m from Mexico and had a U.S. tourist visa that expired in 2023. I didn’t renew it at the time, so I had to apply again and go through the interview process.

The interview ended up being extremely simple, literally just 3 questions:

VO: Why do you want to enter the U.S.?

Me: I want to use my 7 days of vacation to go to McAllen, Texas, do some shopping, and eat at Whataburger

VO: What do you do for a living?

Me: I’ve been working as a litigation attorney at a law firm for the past 8 years

VO: How much do you earn per month?

Me: 85,000 MXN (5,000 USD aprox)

Approved.

For context, I always followed the rules with my previous visa (short stays, never overstayed), so it does seem like having a clean history helps, even if you have to interview again.

Hope this helps someone going through the process.
