2014 Chevy Cruze LTZ

Hey everyone! I recently bought a 2014 Chevy Cruze, with a turbocharged 1.4L engine, and automatic transmission.

I know I probably should have asked this before buying it, but it’s already mine, and I’m hoping to learn from people who know these cars well. I’m not looking to get roasted.
I genuinely want to be proactive.
What are the common issues with this model? What typically fails, what maintenance should I do right away, and what should I keep an eye on to help it last as long as possible?
Any advice from experienced owners would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Buying used, under $6000 cash purchase. Please help

I’m getting overwhelmed trying to find a good reliable car without getting screwed over. I’m not worried about resale value, just need a good dependable car that I basically drive until the wheels fall off. My current car is a 2004 Chevrolet cavalier with 235,000 miles and the wheels are falling off. If I had taken better car of the car it would go further. What should I be looking for? I know to ask about tire tread, any indicator lights going off. And if I’m paying cash up front how would I go about offering less than the selling price.
