Took my first big trip with my Crosstrek Limited Hybrid. 42 mpg! Very happy with that. 👍👍

This is not a political post. It’s more curiosity. It seems that Robin Ficker runs for Congress or governor or something or this or that every election cycle. He never gets elected. Yet he will run again, I guess, in another 2 or 4 years. I don’t even know what party he’s from or if he’s independent.

His quest for some kind of elected position seems utterly futile. Is this his hobby?

What drives him to continually run? His message has never really caught on, obviously, or else he would be in an elected office.

It’s his prerogative, of course, but I don’t get it.

The problem with Amazon/Jeff Bezos owning the James Bond franchise is that we are likely to be deprived of the ultimate James Bond villain, which would be Jeff Bezos himself.

I was originally planning to get my Crosstrek Hybrid in 2027, but I learned that in the next model year they’re removing the 360° camera from any of the choices. My dealership has told me that, and my research has confirmed this. Just sharing if it helps. I pivoted and am picking up a 2026 model. Happy I’m getting that camera.

I just ordered a hybrid Crosstrek Limited in its electric banana yellow color. Should arrive by the end of the month…for newer hybrid owners: what is something you learned about your Crosstrek after picking it up and driving it?
