Russell Westbrook is the reason I became a die hard NBA enjoyer, and more specifically a thunder fan. With the recent news of his retirement, I was just curious to know if I should expect the value of his cards/memorabilia to skyrocket, stay in a similar ball park, or decrease at this time. I’m looking to up my collection and just trying to scout out a possible timeline to go in.

For a bit of context, Thome is a native to the area I was born and raised and even has some small history with my family. Long story short, I was given this hat as a child and have only ever been able to identify Thome’s auto. I was gifted the hat sometime in the late 00’s to early 10’s. Sorry for the inconvenience of the dust/dirt, recently refound.
Hey everyone, I haven’t bought packs in a couple months but decided to get a random NBA Hoops Topps pack last night from my local walmart… wasn’t expecting to pull this. Corners are obviously a little scuffed.. (Personal Collection)
Edit: Probably not gonna have it graded, you guys have any cool display cases or ways you like to display stuff like this? Relatively new to the hobby.
