Just picked up my new bike on Sunday! Ordered a tst tail tidy, integrated tail light, a screen protector, and some swingarm spools for it already. Will eventually get a yoshimura at2 and some different mirrors but I love this thing! Def too quiet with stock exhaust though
Im just looking for advice from people who have had a naked and switched to cruiser or had a cruiser and switched to a naked, I’m 34, 5’8 175 lbs. Used to ride dirt bikes and race motocross, had a Kawasaki ninja 600 quite a few years ago. Looking at getting a bike again and cannot for the life of me decide what to get.
The 3 bikes I’ve been looking at are the Yamaha mt 09, Indian scout 101, or an Indian chief dark horse. I know these are wildly different, just seeing what everyone has to say about them. I’ve scoured the internet and I’ve sat on all of them(they all feel good to me). I unfortunately don’t have the opportunity to ride them. So that’s not an option.
There are no “twisties” around here it’s mostly flat and boring. Which is why I figured a cruiser could be fun, but I’m a big Yamaha fan and really like the look and sound of the mt 09. Only thing holding me back is if I want to do 2-3 hr rides it might be windy and annoying for that.
I know this has been asked before but what’s everyone’s thoughts who have experienced both of these styles?
