Fan art project: Plasma cut steel "Poster" of Max Payne 1 cover

I do plasma cutting art, mostly of game art, logos and emblems from various titles, and more, and recently completed my biggest project yet, which I've planned for over four years: A "poster" of the original cover art of Max Payne 1.

The front layer, everything painted black, is 11 gauge (basically 1/8") plate steel, plus or minus a little hand painting for touchup and exceptionally fine details.

The back, is a piece of acrylic plastic the same thickness painted white and red.

It was then glued up in a few places (the floaty bits mostly, but some epoxy in other areas too) and hung up via the four screws in the corners.

It is about 22x33 inches.

As my posts of this work on various subs typically go, the first few photos show the finished piece, then the rest document my process in order from start to finish (though for this specific job there are only a few of said process photos.)

Feel free to check out my profile for much more of such work. As I post a wide range of other content, it's likely easiest to just check out the results of this search query of my post history for the word "plasma" to see really all of my work like this specifically, Here.

[FAN ART] Plasma cut plate steel minimalist style art piece of my character

I run a small metal shop just getting into more CNC plasma work and after about five years of making logos, emblems, etc. from media I like, I'm getting into more involved pieces along these lines.

As I typically format these posts (of which you can find more than a few on my profile) the first photo depicts the finished work (or current state of the piece) and the rest, in order, show the process. See photo captions for more info.

I am unsure if I'll continue with it, but will likely put a very small washer in the hole where his watch is and paint the white background of the hole orange, maybe also attempt to hand draw or otherwise render a background of the buildings behind him in the screenshot.

It is about 22x20, the front piece 11 gauge steel (basically 1/8") and the backplate some thinner older "upcycled" cap that was an old floor of an industrial steel storage basket.

Definitely interested in a conversation if there was a larger interest in work like this too!
