Love this funky little space squirrel, but I’ve been swapping out villagers for more “realistic” looking animals and it’s time for her to move on.

She’s been gifted a few shirts, no furniture, and adopted the catchphrase “ya dig” from another villager.

Hazel was one of my very first villagers on the island I started in 2021. I will be so for real, I did NOT want her and her stupid bob haircut wandering around my island, and wanted her to leave for the longest time.

Then I put the game down for a few years and picked it back up when 3.0 came out and have been playing daily since. I maxed out my friendships and redecorated everyone’s house, and I started to enjoy visiting Hazel in her cozy woodsy house and seeing her airplane-run around the plaza.

So when she asked me if she should move, I was a little torn! I let most of my other villagers leave when they ask, just to keep things fresh, but I had to stop and think about this one.

So long, Hazel, to you and your unibrow ❤️
