Any parents showing their daughters and/or sons off campus so they can know what to demand/how to treat a lady before college ?

This might sound off the wall but I really wonder if this show could alter male/female dynamics on campuses nationwide indefinitely. If parents showed their kids this show before college. Women-- to know what to demand and men how to treat someone. Thoughts?

Creating A List of Alternatives to Off Campus

I've felt it and I know others have too. You get to the end of episode 8 and instead of going back to episode 1 for the thousandth time you're hungry for something else that's similar or that has that same young-ish feel good vibe. While I don't know of anything that has quite the same magic as Off Campus, here's a list of alternative shows. I've seen a list or two that had zero diversity and with shows that I could not get into so feel free to add (not all of these are campus shows and some of them have a slightly different vibe).

Shows/Films I've watched:

My So-Called Life

Freaks and Geeks

Insecure

Felicity

Can't Hardly Wait

Atlanta

Chewing Gum

Heartbreak High

S3x Education

16 Candles

Awkward

LoveSick

Depending on your taste: Emily in Paris

I've HEARD is great: Maxton Hall, Heated Rivalry

Shows I could not get into: Girls, S3x lives of college girls

What do we think the actors will do next?

So we know this show has a lifespan of 4 seasons and that beloved folks will have less screen time as the seasons continue. Curious to know what folks feel like the actors will be up to next? I haven's seen any new projects on their IMDB pages.

Let's talk about S3X!

Did we love it? Did we hate it? Thoughts on Book s*x vs. Series s*x? Some of those book scenes made me want to take a pregnancy test after reading them they were so spicy. SO glad I saw the show before I read the book because I would've been disappointed as hell had I read the books first. I know they had a limited amount of time but had they just cut the Ally and Dean episode and maybe made it the opening episode of season 1, they could've devoted just a LITTLE more time to the spice instead of a 10 second montage with the awkward riding portion and the toe curling (that scene I actually enjoyed btw). Thoughts?

Curious to know how my fellow women of color are feeling about the book and the show

I've had a couple of disagreements about both the book and the show that I am pretty sure boil down to cultural differences. I read a really interesting perspective from a Black writer about the Whiteness of the show. Curious to know how my other ladies of color are feeling.

I LOVE Belmont as Garrett but....

I may get roasted for this but as a stan of the show, I have to say it...I'm going to need Belmont to take more dramatic acting classes. After watching the series no less than 7,000 times and probably being solely responsible for keeping it in the top 10, I've really had a chance to dig into all of the particulars of the show. He had some great comedic moments, his timing on many of his lines made me smile/laugh out loud but many of what were supposed to be gut-wrenching scenes were REALLY hard to watch because there was nothing there -- not a real sense that a person went to a place and had an experience. I don't know if he'll have more scenes like that in the future but I want his career to be bright. If he doesn't really develop those skills, I could see him being a flash in the pan.

I took out the "tears" part because I don't believe that every painful moment has to have tears. In fact some are so bad they are beyond tears. That being said, many of the moments simply did not feel real. I think if he really trained, they could.

Let's talk about the strip scene!

Does anyone else feel robbed because they were not able see the FULL cut of the strip scene?? Don't get me wrong... all of the shirtless scenes were delicious, the sex scenes were moderately satisfying (save the flying solo scene which I thoroughly enjoyed) but with all this Kid Laroi hype, I feel like I need more.

Anyone else refusing to read the next book until the next season come out?

I am SO glad I didn't read The Deal first. I only read it after I'd watched the series 10,000 times. Don't get me wrong, there are things I love and hate about both. I won't be reading any more of the books until I watch the season first. Anyone else doing this?

Does anyone else have a love/hate relationship with book Garrett?

I had no idea what Off Campus was until I couldn't sleep one night, randomly selected it and binged the entire series until 5am. I fell in love with Garrett like so many millions of people. I finally started reading the first book in the series. I LOVE Hannah's character but Garrett makes me want to throw up in my mouth he is so cringe and crass. Don't get me wrong, there are things that are really loveable and honorable about him but he's just vulgar AF in so many ways and in others, I felt like he was written by a woman so it took me out. Anyone else feel that way?
