Budget quality speaker

Hi! I am looking for a cheap speaker that has good quality. My biggest issue with the ones I've tried is that they sound like glitchy or like the audio is skipping kinda if that makes sense. I don't really want to spend more than $40(USD) if there are any good ones under that price. It doesn't even need to get super loud, I'm just connecting it to my projector to watch YouTube in my room lol.

The only good speaker I have used with it was my boyfriend's JBL, but I'm not really trying to spend that much money to just use it in my room. Any recommendations would be helpful thank you!

Laptop recommendation

LAPTOP QUESTIONNAIRE

  • Country

United States

  • Budget

Max Budget is $1200, but i'm hoping to stay closer to $800

  • Are you open to refurbs/used options?

No

  • Screen size

15"

  • Weight limit

Lighter weight (I just don't want to feel like I'm carrying a brick around)

  • Purpose

Schoolwork and entertainment

  • Form factor

Standard/Clamshell - touchscreen is nice but i can do without

  • Intended usage

Microsoft schoolwork (word, excel, PowerPoint, ect.) I play a few games but mainly Modded Minecraft. I would love to be able to play with shaders but that might be a little unreasonable lol. (Sorry I'm not much of a gamer so I don't know the like fps and that stuff)

  • Desired battery life

4 hours at least I think

  • Please list, in order of most important to least important, the priority between Size, Weight, Performance, Battery life

Performance, battery life, weight, size is not a make or break, my laptop now is just that size and I like it

  • Info/Requirements

These are the recommendations from my school so id like it to fit in these standards too i guess

  • Processor: Intel i5 or better, AMD Ryzen 5 or better, or Apple M1/M2 chip or better
  • Operating System: Microsoft Windows or macOS
  • Memory: 16 GB
  • Hard drive: 256 - 512 GB SSD

I don't know much about laptops so if there is anything I am missing from what I didn't know that's actually super important, I can try to figure it out. Also I would prefer like a regular laptop, not like a gaming one. Thank You :)

Laptop recommendation for potential biochem major

Hello! I am an incoming freshman at Millersville University and I'm planning on getting a new laptop. I am undecided but I am likely going to go into the science field (biochem or just chem). My max budget is $1200 but hoping to stay closer to $800

These are the requirements from my school.

  • Processor: Intel i5 or better, AMD Ryzen 5 or better, or Apple M1/M2 chip or better
  • Operating System: Microsoft Windows or macOS
  • Memory: 16 GB
  • Hard drive: 256 - 512 GB SSD

They also specify that they don't recommend chromebooks

I am mostly conflicted between if I should get a mac or windows laptop. All my devices are apple so it would sync nicely, but Millersville is a Microsoft school and I current have a HP Laptop 15z-ef2xxx and like it. I'm just unsure which would be better and would like some advice/recommendations. If there is any other info that would be helpful please let me know!

hi! I used to be on Focalin (dexmethylphenidate), but I had to switch because it gave me really bad anxiety. Now I'm on 18mg of Concerta (I'm on a generic, but I'm not sure which one, if that matters). I have been taking it for 4 days, but I have felt exhausted even though I have been getting more sleep than I used to. I also feel like depressed? I am sad without a reason, and I feel like I've lost motivation to do many things.

I know 4 days is not a long time, I just wanted to see if other people have felt this and if things have changed for them. Thank you :)
