Nearly free (semi-private) flights with new JSX credit for Sapphire Reserve customers

Recently learned about JSX through a Sapphire Reserve offer. They have several routes (LAS–LAX, LAX–DEN, HOU–DAL, AUS–TSM, etc.) with fares around $200–$400. If you use a referral when signing up, you can also get a $100 flight credit, which basically makes it possible to get a ~$300 flight for almost nothing when combined with the Sapphire Reserve offer. The experience seems pretty solid too: expedited boarding and baggage claim, 2 free checked bags, valet parking, a dedicated hangar, lounge access, and complimentary drinks/snacks.

Feel free to use my referral for $100 off your first flight (sign up now but book later; referral vouchers expire in 6 months):

Hiking partners over labor day weekend

(25M) Hey y’all! Posted in here previously in preparation of my visit to the park. I’ve since finalized plans for a solo camping trip (in Blackwoods) from 9/2 to 9/8! If anyone would like to meet up to tackle some sunrise/sunset hikes or just hang out in general, I’m excited to just be outdoors and meet some people.

Chase Travel spend $600 get $100 back

Noticed a new Chase Travel offer on several of my cards this morning: Spend $600 or more, get $100 back. I’m hoping to capitalize on the offer, but while I travel quite often, I already have all my plans set and flights booked for the rest of the year. I likely won’t have any new travel to book before the offer expires.

Are there any airlines I can book through Chase Travel and then cancel in a way that would give me a good, flexible travel credit—even if the credit is only valid for a year?

Has anyone had any luck using this offer or otherwise “extending” its life when they don’t actually have upcoming travel to book?

p.s. while the screenshot does not show Chase Sapphire, it’s available on it as well for me

Need recommendations/advice for 5 days camping in Acadia National Park

Hey yall, appreciate the support in advance. I'm looking for ideas and suggestions for hikes, logistics, tips as I plan my 5 days (not including travel days) in Acadia over labor day weekend. Currently the plan is to fly in and out of BGR and take Downtowneast Transportation Buses into (Wednesday) and from (Tuesday) Bar Harbor. Will have everything needed to backpack, but need to pick up basic supplies like fuel canisters and potentially stakes on the way. Open to hikes of all levels. Open to renting bikes. Main question I want to know is what area to spend each day in to make the most out of trip but welcoming any and all tips. Also ideally avoiding crowds (I know it's not ideal for Labor Day weekend), so would rather stay in the quieter side during the peak of the weekend. Will be looking out for the reservations that open up 14 days prior.
