help with touch controls over canvas area on mobile :)

hi! i'm looking for some help on a tiny webapp i've been building. this is my very first foray into web stuff so im very much out of my depth here, and im not much of a programmer anyway

the website is https://fatigue.plus/colocs/ and basically you choose two characters and you get a custom ending (it's all in french, sorry)

i can scroll, pinch to zoom, and move around while zoomed in, but only if i do all this outside the canvas (the side edges). however i can't do anything over it. this is a problem because the font is quite small

i think anyone can access the css/html/js from the website right?

i've tried many things but have not gotten it to work at all lol, hope someone has a solution! :) thx!!

yiddish / french joke my grandma used to tell

couldn't find anything online, wondering if anyone had heard that one, thought i'd put it out there for prosperity. i don't speak yiddish so please correct me if i'm wrong.

>a man is teaching his friend some words in french

>" 'chat' iz 'kats' 'chien' iz 'hunt' 'souris' iz 'moyz' "

>the friend answers "azoy.."

>so the man replies " 'oiseau' iz 'feygele' "

the joke is that a yiddish speaker could mistakenly pronounce the word "oiseau" (bird in french) close to what "azoy" sounds like :)

maybe someone might've heard something similar before

If Paul McCartney, Chris Paul, George Harrison and Harrison Barnes had ever formed a band, their first and last names on the team sheet would read out their full names.

Example with first names:

Chris Paul George Harrison

Example with last names:

Paul McCartney Harrison Barnes

seeing hornets and celtics fan lose their mind over poor returns for their disgruntled / injury-prone all-stars really makes me feel some type of way

anthony davis, max christie, 2029 first, for a perennial first team all-nba player, these fans don't know pain lmao

how high we think the fo had morez on their board?

does masai still pick morez at 8 with flemings still available? we'll probably never know but i wonder how hard they wanted to make morez-may happen or if they still had him a tier below the top guards

did we ever get an inside look at how masai's recruitment actually took place?

don't think i've seen anything like this go through here but i could be mistaken. specifically looking for who advised dumont, be it firm or specific people. have to believe someone was in the talks alongside him. thx!!
