Is there anyone here who got into a university in South Korea on a scholarship?

I’m from Uzbekistan, and I really want to study in South Korea. Right now I have TOPIK Level 2, but I stopped studying Korean because my parents were against it. However, my dad said that if I get a full scholarship, he’ll allow me to study there.
The problem is that I have no idea where to start. I want to become a translator, but I think I should carefully think about my future career first. Could you recommend some fields of study and tell me how you got accepted, which university you chose, and what the application process was like?
