29 and dealing with insecurities about height still

I was diagnosed with Turner’s Mosaic at 11, and started on daily growth hormone shots. I’m now currently about 4’8-4’9 (which is really annoying because on my license it says I’m 4’10, it’s literally like I’m shrinking lol).

I’ve gone through periods of my life where I’ve been hyper aware of my height, high school especially I was very insecure about it. And I’ve gone through periods where I don’t really care. Right now I’m in a period where I think about it everyday. I think it’s because I currently work as a nanny, and the 10 year old girl I watch is now about my height. It’s difficult looking at her and realizing that that’s how I look to other people (height wise). And her friends also love to say things like “omg I’m taller than your nanny.” It’s so stupid that at my grown age stuff like this bothers me but it does.

I go out to clubs and bars with my friends and all I can think about is that any guy who looks at me just thinks I look weird, or like a child. I feel like women taller than me are able to look sexy in a way I can’t. It’s stupid but all I think about is if there’s some way for me to get taller because I’m literally delusional lol. I would literally take just 3 more inches of height. I think once I stop nannying and stop being reminded everyday that I’m the same height as a 4th grader I’ll feel better lol. Just needed to vent.

4 days post second laser session. She says I don’t need any more sessions but I feel like I do?

The woman who lasered me said they will fade so much over the next few weeks that I shouldn’t need to come in for any more lasering. But I feel like even if it fades that much it’s gonna be red after? I asked about the red and she said that it’s an orangey-red that’s difficult to remove.

My friend gave me this beautiful guitar that she’s had forever and knows she won’t use, but I think it might be too big for me, thoughts?

I’ve been playing on a crappy smaller parlor guitar I bought for $100 on Amazon like 10 years ago. It sounds pretty fine but I had been considering upgrading when my friend texted me out of the blue and said this guitar had been sitting around in her house since high school. Her parents bought it for her and she never played it. It felt like a dream come true that she wanted to give this to me! But I think I might have to accept it’s a little too big for me to play comfortably. I’m only 4’10 btw. What do we think?

Is there anything I can do to speed up the removal process in between laser sessions?

I just had my first laser session about a week ago and my brows lightened a little bit, but not as much as I had hoped. I was wondering if it would be a bad idea to put tretinoin or use my at home microneedling roller while I’m waiting the 6 weeks in between sessions. Not trying to be irresponsible but I’m just eager to have these gone 😅

My journey after 1 laser session. Why do my brows look darker now a couple days later?

I was super happy after my first session because it looked liked she was able to get most of the pigment. Now it kind of hardly looks like it was lasered? I’m assuming this is a normal part of the process and I need to continue to wait a few more weeks to really see my results, but I’m wondering if anyone else has had this happen?

Microblading removal recommendations for Chicago (reasonable prices)?

A couple years ago I thought about getting my microblading lasered off and got a quote from a Medspa here in Chicago, they quoted me $150-$200 a session. I decided not to go through with it as I didn’t completely hate my brows at the time.

Now, I’m absolutely certain I want them gone, and that same place quoted me $300. I called Removery and they quoted me $400. All these prices feel a bit steep tbh. I’ve worked front desk at multiple Medspas and I understand ultimately these spas can charge whatever they want. But $300-$400 for 10 seconds of laser on each brow seems crazy.

I don’t wanna cheap out but I’m also wondering if anyone has had a good experience anywhere in Chicago or the suburbs that charges less.

If I already have a chord progression in mind, how can I map it out without midi, and without having to map each individual note?

Hi, I'm a total beginner with Ableton, so I'm not sure if there's a way to do this. But I wanted to know if there's a more efficient way to map out the chord progressions that I create on piano. I have a midi keyboard but sometimes I work on projects while I'm at work, so knowing how to map out chords quicker would be really helpful. Thanks!

I know I messed up saving them on a USB. I wanted to print a photo of me and my friend from high school for her birthday, and the corrupted photos literally just show me or are glitchy. Is there any way to save this??
