I am a senior lady in Maple Ridge. I am wondering if there are any other seniors who get together in groups to play cards, or board games? I don't have many friends, and am looking for ladies who like to get together with a groupof ladies. I am not very active. I don't drink regularly, but would like a glass of wine in a group setting. I love to laugh, and have fun.
I get such bad anxiety on my last day off, just thinking of going to work the next day. I have a hard time sleeping because I just toss, and turn with work on my mind. I have to work day shift so that way I just get up, and go. If I work afternoon shifts, I stay in bed all morning, making myself sick with worrying about my shift later that day. I can't do this any longer. I am on Gabapentin, Lamotrigine, Risperidone, and Wellbutrin. I have told my psychiatrist about my anxiety, but he says to do breathing exercises. I have tried that, but it doesn't help. It's like he doesn't believe me. I am on these meds because of a mental disorder. . Does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle the anxiety?
I am a Christian who has not attended church in many years. The last church I attended was in Coquitlam. I am looking for recommendations for a Church in Maple Ridge. Preferably on a bus route. Thank you kindly. 😊 Is Maple Ridge Alliance Church a good option?
