Boy George no longer in Jesus Christ Superstar in London

Statement via his agent. He's been replaced for his dates by Richard Armitage.

Also, it's basically a 6 minutes scene and that's almost all the time onstage apart from the bow.

Joy Woods was incredible in concert in London

Yesterday I was at Joy Woods concert in Cadogan Hall in London. She said it was her second (solo?) concert that she had ever done. She was such a good performer but also so funny. She had several musicians and one of them was her brother on guitar. Theme of the night was Love songs.

Set list here:

She did no songs from Cabaret but said that we had to come and see her at the kit kat club. She also played the guitar for one song.

End of the Rainbow with Jinkx in London

I saw it tonight and it was absolutely incredible. Jinkx was so good and it was such a great portrayal of both the incredible talent of Judy Garland as well as some of her difficulties and life behind the scenes. It's set in London in 1969 when she is doing a 5 week engagement in a concert hall. Given how opulent the show looked (and the only 5 week run), I would be amazed if it doesn't end up on Broadway at some point.

(I have tagged it West End but the theatre is unusual and not where other theatres are, definitely not West End. It looks stunning inside and has 1000 seat capacity)
