Timeline refugees - a bit late but I made a timeline replacement app
It can work without sending anything to my server by backing up to your iCloud
You can import your timeline data from Google Maps Timeline to bring back your entire history
(completely optional) share your timeline with a link (web access!)

Hope this is useful for y'all - I'm a heavy timeline user so I made this with my use-case in mind. Let me know if there are missing features - I'm working on this full time so I can usually get around to improvements pretty fast!
