First Gold Nib

I know I can get this pen for about the same price in the US, but this Pilot Elite has been on my list since I first started this hobby in earnest 4 years ago. Felt fitting to buy it during my pilgrimage to Itoya Ginza last week during my trip to Japan.

Finally joined the Oceanus family

I bought the last T200 at the Akihabara Bic Camera the night be for last. It was the display model in fact. This, after visiting more than 5 other Bic's during my visit to Tokyo this past week looking for the blue one. Turns out the blue one is out of stock in most places right now. I was determined to make the T200 the watch I was going to buy during my trip to Japan and had already decided that I would be ok with the white one if the blue one wasn't available.

I am really glad I ended up with the white one. This thing is gorgeous and I think it's going to be more of a strap monster than the blue one in the long run.

Also: Fair warning to anyone planning their first trip to Japan with planned stops at Bic... The corporate jingle WILL get stuck in your head for days. (Bic O Bic O Bic O Bic O Camera). It will drive you nuts and there is nothing you can do to prevent it.

Wanted to wear my Duro a little louder today

Felt like making my Duro a little louder today. I put it on this bright orange/reflective French Marine Nationale style strap. Gotten compliments about it at work.

Test Macro Shot Neewer LS-26 PRO 105 Macro

This is a 24mp test shot from my S25 Ultra of my Pelikan M205 Petrol Fountain Pen Nib. This is with no editing other than whatever Samsung automatically applied to the JPG. The Neewer LS-26 Pro is mounted over the 1x lens. Full-res RAW image for your own analysis is linked here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ewxqqokYkZxl6bqCYPl-0ZMLhraKSbZE/view?usp=sharing

The photo was taken at my desk in my home office in a very challenging lighting situation. If you're looking for color accuracy, the ink on the paper is Diamine Aurora Borealis.
