Worth reporting?

I usually dont bother, i cycle a lot all over london (its my job) so i see too many infractions to spend any time on, and i dont believe much comes from it anyway.

But this one was particularly eggregious. If anyone knows wimbledon, this is on melrose avenue at the end opposite wimbledon park station. Its one way traffic except a cycle lane going the opposite direction. I came from the wimbledon park end, round the corner and found a scaffolding truck parked in the cycle lane. (I came at it from the opposite directiong im facing when i took the photo) And as the road is one way except the cycle lane, going round it means going into oncomming traffic. Theres a space on the opposite side of the road, while i think its a yellow line, its not blocking a cycle lane and cars etc could still get through too.

As i approached i saw a bloke standing by the truck, i asked is it his and could he move out of the cycle lane, he then responded by verbally abusing me, said he pays tax on the truck so he can park where he likes (thats not what that means but okay 🤦‍♂️🤣) and said that hes not bothered coz hes loading up.

Is the photo ive taken good enough evidence to bother reporting it with, and where/which authority do i talk to about this?

I will also be contactinf his company and letting them know about it. Idk how far theyll take any action though.

Folding kayakers, how are you cleaning your kayaks?

So i went out on my folding oru beach lt for the first time yesterday, really happy with how it performed. But it collected a lot of mud and duck poo, i have a hose at home but dont really have the space to open it out and hose it down. Im wondering how other people are overcoming this?

And how often are you cleaning it, is it absolutely necessary to wash it after every use, just when it gets particularly dirty, or once every few months?

Hey guys. Question on comparison between two open ear earphones. Shokz openrun 2, and raycon bone conduction heapdhones

Which are better? And having already just paid for the shokz openrun 2, is it worth getting the raycon ones for £100 less tuan the price i paid for the shokz.

So i use open ear earphones for work (i am a cargo bike cyclist, 8 hours of cycling around london 5 days a week) when i cycle for leisure i use normal headphones but im usually off road, when cycling for work its all on road, often busy areas etc so not drowning out surrounding noise is important.

When i first started this job i got the shokz openrun 2, i was happy with them but then i saw adverts for the raycon ones, and saw they have a feature where you can toggle where the earpieces hang, which the shokz dont have, and their one size is not a perfect fit for me. They fit, and stay on, but not quite in tje *perfect* position. The other day i lost them, (not at work but somewhere i wanted to take them instead of my clunky big normal headphones). Now i need these for work and dont have time to wait for a delivery, and i hate long travel without music so i went into the nearest suitable shop to get some more in person. I was hoping this would be an opportunity to switch to the raycon. But the shop didnt have raycon at all. So i got the same shokz openrun 2. On the way home, i see that the raycon were priced at ~64 quid. Compared to the 169 quid i paid for the shokz. So that hurts.

Other than the toggle-able fit of the raycon, those who have used both, are there any other major differences? How does the sound quality compare? I have them bluetoothed to my samsung galaxy s25. Ive seen that the raycon use a newer version of bluetooth... does that make any noticeable difference?

What im really asking is, having already paid 169 quid for the shokz, now i have them, is it worth getting the raycon anyway? I dont mind paying 64 quid for them, i do wish that the shop had them in the first place though... that 169 quid hurts.

Also as a bonus question, are all open earphones, bone conduction? or is that just the raycon ones? I dont see other brands mentioning the term bone conduction, but they seem to be the same idea of not covering your ears but rather that bir just infront of your earholes and the sound goes through there. This is just me tryna understand the technical jargon.

Thanks in advance

Beard and hair changes?

Hey guys, im thinking about changing my beard and hair.

My main question is about the hair, with regards to my forehead (recently made a post in r/beards you may have seen that, its not receeding i just have a large slightly protruding forehead... dont tell me to go bald 😅🤣🤣)

Ive had it long for a long time now, and im thinking should i change it? In r/beards the point was made that it doesnt suit my forehead, which i agree with, and have always not really liked... but i do like long hair and i think long hair suits me as a person (hence why i have long hair for the last 12 years or so) but, i wanna improve my looks so... im thinking about foing for like a 90s grunge medium long with a fringe kinda thing (my hairs quite thick and heavy, anything that relies on gel or pomades is not an option for me tbh).

For the beard im almost certainly gunna go for a ducktail. What i have been doing is lazyly just keeping it at some kind of length, not really been too fussed up til now, now i wanna improve my looks. I dont think the shape ive accidentally made it into suits my face structure, a ducktail i think would. Ill grow it out a little longer and then get a proper barber to reshape it, and then lesrn how to maintain it. I will also be investing in beard straighteners and beaed dye for the greyish patches.

What do you guys reckon? Does the medium long with a fringe with thick straight hair and a ducktail beard work on me? Any other suggestions for me to consider?

Solo trip to krakow, hows the nightlife?

Hey guys, im taking a solo trip to krakow next week. Will be doing some sightseeing, auschwits, salt mine (more to be decided, im a last minute planner. Have previously asked in this sub about things to do in krakow and will be referring back to it for more ideas). But im intrigued about the nightlife, particularly clubbing.

Is krakow nightlife welcoming for solo foreign travellers? Are there any areas, or clubs, i should avoid, or that i should consider going to. Any krakow clubbing ettiqutte or culture i should be aware of? Anything else i should know in terms of staying safe?

I dont go clubbing much in london (where i live) as i dont really like the vibe or the music. And have never been clubbing alone.* but for a long time now ive wanted to try it in other places, particularly mainland europe. I think ill prefer the music and the vibe of the crowds.

*im actually a bit of an introvert but im trying to be more outgoing, socially independent etc so the going clubbing in a place ive never been and dont speak the language, on my own, will either go amazingly, or ill go back to my hotel room after 5 minutes 😅.

Hey guys, im new to vpn. Been intending to get one for ages and then got a subscription for free (from opening a revolut account). Ive heard the phrase regional prices, and im p sure ive heard people talking about getrinf cheaper deals in different countries, this conversation was about vpns. How true is that? And how would i know where the cheapest place to mask as is? Is it just a thing of connecting to different places and browsing and trial and error or is there some other way of finding out?

Im mainly asking as im about to book a solo trip to krakow (i live in london) and if theres a way i can get a it cheaper, id be mad not to take the opportunity.
