My katana 15hx gon be delivered soon. Any tips or steps i should follow on the first day?

I'm seeing a lot of hate towards msi on other subs which made me worry.

I already ordered a foam sealed cooler pad with the laptop. Any other precautions or setting updates i should follow right after receiving the laptop to avoid thermal issues or other problems ?

Edit: my model got i7 14650hx and rtx 5050. My primary usage would be to connect an 240hz external monitor through dp 1.4 and play games

Give your genuine thought about katana 15hx (i7 15650hx/ rtx 5050)

I am a formar msi user ( gf65 thin/rtx 2060). I finally decided to upgrade and get my next gaming laptop and after researching a lot i decided to get an msi again mostly cause im so comfortable yet.

Katana 15hx fits comfortably in my budget so please let me know if it's any good im 2026.

( i have been out of the "laptop game" for about a year)

What's up with this weird clicktech bundle discount laptops?

In this Amazon sale i have noticed something weird.

Some of the laptops are listed for way less price when they come in bundles with mouse and headphones. Except they miss the "Amazon's choice" tag and has absolutely 0 reviews.

But the same laptop is listed for actual price by the same seller with the Amazon's choice tag and actual active reviews thread.

What's the catch behind it?

I gave an example here for msi katana hx.

It is available for 1.14 lakhs and with many good reviews.

But then again listed for only ONLYY 98K WITH THE BUNDLE but with absolutely 0 reviews and misses the Amazon's choice tag.

The seller is always the same no matter bundle or not.. CLICKTECH PRIVATE LIMITED.

What's up with these weird clicktech laptop bundles?

In this sale i have found out this weird thing where the same laptop is listed for way less price in a bundle with a mouse and headphones. But the bundles have 0 reviews and misses the " Amazon's choice tag". While the same laptop listed without the bundles has active reviews and discussion thread with "Amazon's choice" tag.

I attached example for the msi katana 15hx laptop which has a listing for 1.14 lakhs and then only for 98k when it comes with bundles.
