Rushing to graduate. Should I drop my thesis?

I am an international student that hit a financial roadblock. I’m not able to afford the last semester of my undergraduate biology degree so I have decided to go all in and graduate a semester early. My schedule is absolutely packed with classes, work, and a thesis.

My research was initially very important to me because I had plans to do research work/go to grad school. But with 24 hours on my class schedule, I’m not sure it is worth it.

I have research experience on my resume with a literature review in progress, a 2 month long plant transformation as well as a summer yeast transformation independent study. I’ve heard how important research experience is in finding a job in biology. My question is whether or not this alone is sufficient to finding a job, any job, in biology or getting accepted into grad school.

Any advice would be so appreciated.

My (22F) partner (25M) thinks I take him getting soft too personally during sex. How do we fix this?

This is extremely personal and I have no one to talk to about this so I’m asking Reddit. English is also not my first language so please excuse any mistakes. I 22F and my partner 25M have been dating for 2 years. Initially we had a very strong intimate connection but I feel like over time it’s dwindled for one specific reason. He doesn’t stay hard.

We usually start off very strong but as time passes he loses momentum and will often lose his erection. It starts off with him losing it while we switch positions but eventually it gets to the point where we can’t continue because it won’t stay while we’re actually doing the deed. Sometimes I orgasm before this point.

He says this is normal and that I shouldn’t take it personally if I came. He says my pleasure is what matters to him but I feel similarly. Additionally he says he experiences a pressure to perform that I don’t help by being visibly disappointed. But I honestly can’t help feeling rejected when this happens.

We used to have sex daily but the time between intimacy has increased so he’s been masturbating instead. He says he tries to keep it to once day because of blue balls. He says he watches our videos but I’ve opened his devices to porn sites.

I don’t mind him watching porn or jacking off. But it is hurtful that he continues to do both as little as daily when we have the struggles that we do in our sex life. I’ve tried to ask him to stop or tell him the way I feel about sex but those conversations usually lead to arguments. He feels I am taking his “softness” too personally and that I am adding anxiety that works against what I want from him. He says this is his struggle and I just make it worse.

I don’t know what to do anymore. I’m trying my best to put my feelings aside because I réalise conversation dont really help anymore. I don’t know what to do. I don’t know if I’m overreacting and this is normal. I’ve never dealt with this before.

Any advice would be appreciated.

TLDR: Partner frequently goes soft during sex. Says it’s normal but also sometimes performance nerves. Says it shouldn’t matter to me because I orgasm.

Edit: realized I had duplicated paragraphs. Had to clean it up a little.
