Mexico City and PV solo trip in early February. Yay or nay?

Thinking about a solo birthday trip for my birthday (late 30s). Is this a good pair? Possibly 8 or 9 days (max 11)

Or would you recommend alternatives? Would prefer somewhere outside the mainland US that’s gay-friendly, relaxing, but has a lot to do.

American, but comfortable with Spanish and French-speaking environments.

Black gay/bi men: Oversharing our community?

When I was growing up as a milennial, I feel like we acted with more discretion. We generally gate-kept and protected those within our community. Nowadays, it feels like so many want to overshare, especially Gen Z and men who are not stereotypically masculine.

Why share with women the hookup apps gay and bi men use, so that those women can get on them, create fake profiles, and spread people's business?

If you mess with a DL man sexually, why get online doing a "DL story time" or out DL men? (You knew it was sex with no strings attached. Men have been DL for centuries, probably even more so in the past. Why create this hysteria among straight and bi women as if they have to watch out for the DL man as if the straight dude who sleeps around on them raw almost everyday and hasn't had a physical in years won't pass an STI onto them?)

Why share with women the meaning of our lingo/slang --lingo that was created so that we could speak in code among other Black gay/bi men? (Now we have homophobic/problematic women walking around using gay slang, often out of context, to sound trendy.).

Why take videos inside of gay clubs and post them online, potentially outing men who came to those spaces just to have a good time discreetly?

Why openly share cruising spots with people who are not gay/bi men?

Why bring obnoxious and/or homophobic women to gay clubs just to make the gay/bi men there feel uncomfortable or as if they have to self-censor?

Some aspects of our culture may not need to be shared outside of our culture.

Foreign language courses at Rice University Glasscock School?

Has anyone taken foreign language courses through Rice University’s Glasscock School of Continuing Studies? If so, what language and what was your experience? Was it worth it?
