Which pet insurance companies are not owned by VC?

Just got my policy renewal info for my cat who recently turned 9. I've been with Embrace for three years now. Started at $315 for the year, then up to $550 for year 2, last year they wanted $760, but I increased the deductible and remained $550. Now it is going up to $900. This seems insane, it's over a 60% increase. I know Embrace is now owned by VC. I'm considering switching to a company that's not owned by VC. Does anyone know if Pets Best or Lemonade are VC-owned?

Issues with USPS hold mail requests

I've been having an ongoing issue with USPS hold mail requests and am wondering if anyone else is having a similar issue. Twice in the past when I've gone out of town I submitted a hold mail request online, received a confirmation number, and then both times the mail was delivered normally the entire time, as if there were no hold mail request in place. For my latest trip out of town, I went into the post office to ask about this and was told it would be better to fill out a physical card there in the branch for the hold request, which I did. But the mail continued to be delivered normally.

I'm incredibly frustrated because my building has had mail room thefts and I've had packages stolen, so I really don't want my stuff just sitting there for a couple of weeks until I get back. I called the local post office branch and spoke to a guy who is supposed to be a customer service supervisor who was kind of blasé about it and said it's a 50-50 chance of the hold request going through, which seems absurd??? He said he'd speak to the carrier, but when I called again the next day he admitted he did not speak with the carrier about it. Overall he seem wholly unconcerned with trying to help resolve this issue. I don't know what else to do. Has anyone else had this issue with their hold requests ignored, or is anyone else currently having this issue? Any suggestions for what to do??

USPS package drop-off locations?

I forgot today was a federal holiday and I have to drop off a couple of packages before I go out of town early tomorrow morning. Is there anywhere that accepts USPS packages when the post office is closed?

The USPS blue mail boxes that I’ve found are for letters only, and someone told me that some UPS stores accept USPS packages but I checked with the one in town and they don’t. Any other ideas? Any suggestions appreciated!

Where are they sourcing their inventory?

I'm so confused, where do blind box (eg Pop Mart) sellers source their inventory? Those boxes are not cheap and they're often selling way below retail. Where are sellers getting them from?

What made the biggest difference for you?

What made the biggest difference for you in terms of making more sales? I'm still a fairly new seller. Givvys had been useful in terms of gaining more followers, but I don't think they've made a significant difference in terms of sales. Paying to promote shows similarly hasn't done much I think. My first show was great and I sold a bunch, since then I sell a few at each show but not as much as my first show. I think my prices are competitive, a little lower than other sellers (selling collectible art toys). Do I just need to be patient and build up followers? What made the biggest difference for you in terms of making more sales? When did things turn a corner for you?

I noticed something today when looking at my orders - several had SOLD as their status (they were completed orders that were delivered today) and one said COMPLETED (also a completed order that was delivered today). Is there a difference between these two? They were both auctions that sold during my last show, both delivered today, neither one has left a review. Why the different statuses?
