what the title says. I refi'ed in January and the dashboard makes it look like my application is still open/active. When I click on the card it takes me to this useless screen (above). So now I have one more thing pushing my accounts down on my dashboard. Please remove after the loan is closed!

How do I get my home policy cancelled???

I had Travelers policies for years through a local agent with Goosehead. The level of service has gone way downhill with Goosehead over the past few years, so I decided to shop around and found a better deal with a captive agent. My Travelers policies renew at the end of July and my new policies were starting July 1, so I called in June to set up for the cancellation. The auto insurance cancellation went fine, but the home policy didn't get done after a few weeks. I was tired of sitting on hold for hours with Goosehead, so went straight to Travellers. I talked to a very nice woman last week on Tuesday who sent me the paperwork needed. I sent it in on Wednesday with the auto reply from Travellers that it will get processed within 24-48 hours. It's now Monday of the next week and nothing.

What do I have to do to cancel a policy?? Why can't I just cancel it online? Why do they make this so hard? I don't understand why they male it so hard. It does NOT make me ever want to come back or recommend them to anyone!

How’s everyone handling the upcoming cold snap?

I am leaving for a 2 week trip tomorrow and with the forecast looking so warm, i was going to plant everything today (with some people coming by to watch out for the house and garden). EDIT: by “everything” I meant warm weather veggies waiting to go in - tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant. I already have cold tolerant stuff and seeds in and i’m not concerned about those!

It was the first year in a long time when i wasn’t going to be planting these seedlings end of May/ early June. And then… i checked the weather. What the hell!! Chris Bianchi from 9news said that we PROBABLY won’t get a freeze in Denver on his insta, but still, this is nowhere near the temps that were forecast just a few days ago and will NOT make my tomatoes and peppers and eggplants happy.

I thought about trying to cover them somehow tomorrow morning before i leave and then having someone uncover them after Monday, but now i think i should just keep them inside and have people water my seedlings for two weeks.

Ugh, Denver, why you doing me dirty…

Sourcing stepping stones

Anyone seen these around town? Or anything similar? I’ve been looking casually for the last year and haven’t seen any in this pea gravel style. Now i’m trying to finish my project so need to figure something out!

These came with the house. I’ve been redoing the yard for the past 3 years and have reappropriated them in the yard. I need 5 more to complete my project! These feels very 80s to me, maybe because the house i grew up in in Florida had this style patio (which is also why i love them and wanted to use them!). The former owner was the original owner from when the home was built in the 50s… so these could be from the 80s.
