help with bed position

i know all the basic rules, but.... our room is very small and has a door or window on every wall. we are about to get the ikea MANDAL bed from fb marketplace and i'm considering if rearranging and installing the matching headboard over a window would work. this is the layout i'm considering. puts us in the command position and is where it *feels* like the bed should be when. you are in the room.

thoughts? the window faces the street, which is occasionally busy. we'd have a sheer curtain over it, and are considering installing an automated blackout blind -- covering it is not an option, i need sunlight to wake up. one consideration is that the closet would be open facing toward our heads. (weird L part represents the closet, which is more enclosed than the ikea designer allows for). i've had several beds in different positions inside the room and they've never felt right.

any considerations or other potential arrangements?
