Cephalic IVC question

Hi, all. Noob question...

According to this photo, the cephalic vein runs in a kind of distal + medial -> proximal + lateral direction, whereas the accessory cephalic vein runs straight down the leg. I would've thought ideal IVC placement would be into the accessory vein, but this tutorial says I should avoid the "accessory" vein whilst seemingly pointing to the main cephalic vein:

So, I'm a little confused. Is this diagram labelled wrong, or did the lady accidentally misname the cephalic vein? Where should I be placing my IVCs— in the purple, blue or green circle?

TIA

Venepuncture tips?

Hi, all! I'm going to be trying my hand at a blood draw next week. My clinic almost exclusive does jugular draws, and so that's what I'll be trying.

Any tips? I barely have experience stabbing animals for any purposes— heck, I've only ever placed 1 IVC before. I'm kinda nervous.

Any tips? Good learning resources? TIA

Should I update my drivers?

Hi all. In device manager, most of my drivers are dated to mid 2025. Windows update and the automatic update checker on Lenovo's website say my Legion Go's drivers are up-to-date... but the drivers listed on Lenovo's website are all much newer than mine. Should I download all of these? Why isn't Windows/Lenovo recognising how old my drivers are??

I have the Legion Go 8ASP2 - Type 83NO, if that matters. Aka the expensive one.

Windows updated. AMD Adrenaline no longer works. Help?

Welp! I explicitly told Windows Update to *pause* all of my updates, but it went ahead and updated a bunch of things, AMD Adrenaline included. Now, whenever I try to open the app, it claims I need to update it... and when I try to download the update, it just gets to 100% and closes.

How do I fix this? I've already tried AMD's website but their installer is only giving me the *drivers*, not the application itself.

Optimising performance— any tips?

Hi, all! I just bought a Lenovo Legion Go. It's the high-end gen 2 model (Z2 extreme CPU + 1TB SSD). Super stoked to start playing some games.

Unfortunately, I have a deep hatred for Windows' bloat/resource hogging, so I'm trying to make it more "barebones." I've uninstalled unnecessary apps, nerfed Edge by disabling start-up boost etc. Are there any other things I should be changing?

Also, I've heard that I can customise my VRAM allocation (2-8GBs). Where do I do this?

Thoughts? I've never had teachers complain about legibility, and older people tend to compliment it, but peers/younger people always say it's hard to read lol

Also, yes, the title is real. She was my teacher when I was 7 :D

Not sure what flair to use, sorry!

I've just bought this '98 camry for a little under $4k. It has 147,xxx kms on the odometer and looks borderline pristine inside and out!

How do I make sure this car continues to look and run beautifully into the future? I'd love to try and preserve it for years to come, but it will be a daily vehicle for at least a year or so.

Cosmetic issues currently:

- minor scratches on the front/rear bumpers. Could probably come out with a polish.

- front seatbelt buckles are missing their "casing" but are functional

- very small rip/disconnection of the fabric thingy on the driver's door. Looks like I could just sew it back in, maybe? Idk

- black plastic trim is starting to lift a little on driver's door

- black plastic (?) components around the front windshield and grill have some white discolouration

Mechanical issues currently:

- none

- will need an oil change in about 2,000 kms

Also, if anyone has stereo/android auto head unit recommendations, that would be appreciated. The one in my Barina definitely won't fit. And if there's anything I can add to make the car cooler/comfier/safer/blah blah, lmk :)
