Has anyone here launched a campaign from a country not supported by Kickstarter/Indiegogo? How did you do it?

I'm from Moldova and I'm planning to build a full-scale airsoft field recreating de_dust2 from CS. Need to raise funds for construction.

Problem is Moldova isn't supported by Kickstarter or Indiegogo, so I can't just create a campaign normally.

Has anyone here dealt with launching from an unsupported country? What did you actually do? What worked, what didn't?

Hey everyone! I'm working on a cosplay project and ran into a wall — hoping someone here has been through this before.

I downloaded a 3D character model from Sketchfab and opened it in Blender. I managed to separate the body parts (head, torso, arms, legs, etc.) and ran an automatic retopology to reduce the polygon/triangle count. I'm a complete beginner with 3D software — everything I know came from YouTube tutorials over the past few days.

The problem: when I import the simplified model into Pepakura Designer 6 and try to unfold it onto A4 sheets, the result is completely unusable. There are hundreds of tiny fragments and random strips everywhere — nothing that looks like something I could actually cut and assemble. I've attached a screenshot so you can see what I mean.

My questions:

Is automatic retopology the wrong approach for pepakura? Should I be doing manual retopology instead?

How do you clean up an arbitrary internet model to get nice, workable unfolded patterns?

Is there a better workflow for taking a Sketchfab model all the way to printable foam/paper patterns?

Any advice from people who've done this before would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!
