Chris Elliott (yes, that Chris Elliott) in Manhunter
Throw Momma from the Train
Now, I just wanna start off by saying I don’t want anyone to misinterpret this. I love this movie and I always will, but…
How was Owen even able to afford his ‘gotta kill Margaret’ Hawaiian vacation? I don’t remember any part of the movie that showed us he had a job. Conceivably, he could’ve taken the money from Momma, but I’m still not quite certain how he could swing that, and speaking of Momma…
Who the hell was watching her in all this time? Did she even notice Owen was gone? As we can see throughout the movie, Mrs. Lift isn’t exactly Miss Personality, so I doubt that any other relatives or (God forbid) friends were checking in on her. Hell, if Owen had intentionally set out to leave Momma alone, the problem could’ve taken care of itself and he wouldn’t have needed Larry.
