Why does Mel feel so weak late game?

Early and mid game I feel so powerful and a great lane bully. Even if I have lots of kills, it feels like I do zero damage late game.

Is this another Veigar type situation where he's really bad against tanks?

How does Loss Mitigated work?

Someone help me understand because I had in both games one person afk the instant they hit level 6 and the second game bot and supp left lane to throw.

In both games I tried my best and even with the afk guy I said no to FF twice. Then by the end of it the first game I didn't lose LP and the second game I gained LP. Both matches I had significantly more damage than everyone else.

I didn't know you could gain LP from loss mitigation.

Does the performance in the match determine if you get a loss mitigation?

What's your favourite Sidemen Clothing item?

I realised no one's ever asked this. TBH I don't like their Summer styles. Maybe it's more UK styling (I'm in Aus) but the t-shirts would be the only thing I would get in Summer. Never understood cargo shorts.

Just got the Astro fleece in ash grey. Wanted the blue/mercury (out of stock) the boys always wear but the grey is just as nice.

Comparing the fleeces, I like my Uniqlo one because it's warm and still very light weight. The Astro Fleece is very puffy and thick so beware if you don't like it too bulky. In my experience, Sidemen Winter clothes have kept me very warm in the coldest winter days.

How do you choose a pen?

Australian here and left handed. I want a pen I can use for daily writing of personal notes because that's basically the only time I use a pen these days. Other than that everything is digital.

School was the time I tested out the most pens and I really liked the Pilot pens because they were clicky and have a grip which made them feel premium. The downside is that I figured out my handwriting was far better with thicker tip ball points and cheap brands like"Pilot papermate kilometrico. Then one day I found a gel pen (don't remember the brand) that was so nice to write with but being left handed made everything smear.

I don't actually know what makes a good or bad pen. The things I hate are thin tips because they feel too smooth and slippery. I stuck to ball points because the left handed issue. The major downside to ball point pens is that they dry out and the ink doesn't come out properly over time.

The reason I point out thin tip pens is because I know Japanese pens for example can go much thinner than what Australia has to offer.

The one pen I did stick to for the longest time is "Pilot super grip M tip".

I work in a cafe in Sydney. The other day I came into my afternoon shift and I announced that I was playing music. The other guy got there before me and was already connected to our work speaker. So I said I'm switching over since I've been nice and letting him control the music weeks in a row. Then he goes and denies that multiple weeks that we work on the same day he had been using the one controlling the speaker.

So after I took over the speaker and he got mad and said he will switch it back in his next free moment which he did. Since he was being petty, I turned off the speaker and said we will keep doing this back and forth until you decide to share. And he had the audacity to say "if you stopped then all this would be over". So that's when I took the speaker and hid it in my own bag because I knew he wouldn't go through my belongings.

Shortly after he comes out with this old speaker that we had that was half broken and starts playing music. He didn't say a word and I already stepped outside to speak to my owner on the phone about the situation and when I came back I left the situation alone and got through my shift because my owner said to try finish the shift and he won't put us on together again.

The other thing is, that whole time we were fighting over the speaker he was being condescending. Like one situation I need to grab milk from the fridge so I asked politely to access the fridge he was standing in front of and he goes "oh you have manners now". And he didn't even realise when I went to take out coffees he cut me off and made me spill them.

There's been multiple situations in the past too where he would leave a whole trolley full of rubbish and go home instead of doing it. I saw it and I didn't want to help him because when I messaged him he acted it wasn't important and just laughed it off. The next day I saw him again and in the most sarcastic tone he goes "Thanks for that", in response to me not taking the rubbish to the tip. Honestly he would always make stupid comments like that whenever he forgets to do a task and acts like I'm not being a team player for not doing something that could take a few seconds. Especially with that trolley situation, it really pissed me off because this girl he apparently had staying over at his place was there the whole time chatting to him so I already knew he was distracted and he was going to forget a task.

The other thing is, I am the most experienced there other than the actual manager. In this cafe there's no official roles aside from the owner but everyone does see me as the senior except for when this guy gets mad when he doesn't get to control the speaker.

So that explains why I got so annoyed that day and it wasn't just a fight over the speaker.

Honestly, working with Gen Z 20 year olds is so hard because they can be so immature. I've trained so many people over my time and especially in the area I work in you can tell some of them never leave the house or experience anything outside of school.

My PC has no issues running 1440p games so is that a limitation of the emulator? I haven't used a DS emulator in a long time and I'm pretty sure I was using desuME but this time I switched over to MelonDS as everywhere I looked said DesuME is less stable.

I'm mainly trying to play Pokemon HGSS. Especially when you lost a battle and you fast forward the game either lags heavily or potentially freezes and there's nothing you can do about it without force closing the app.
