Why does Mel feel so weak late game?

Early and mid game I feel so powerful and a great lane bully. Even if I have lots of kills, it feels like I do zero damage late game.

Is this another Veigar type situation where he's really bad against tanks?

Mel Medarda had the worst treatment in LoL history

It really is deeply saddening what they are doing to Mel. I have never seen any League of Legends champion receive such a horrible treatment.

Right now, Mel has absolutely NOTHING going for her. Her damage has been drastically gutted. She lost her only viable rune, since the new Arcane Comet interacts better with range now and guess what? They stripped away her range too.

Mel performs poorly everywhere, across every single elo and in pro play. Most Mel mains who used to play well in high elo have either given up on her or only play casually now. I personally used to be ranked top 8 Mel in the world, but now it is simply not worth playing her under any circumstances, in any lane. You only win games by pure osmosis; you could be playing full attack-speed Yuumi mid and still win under the same conditions.

Unlike other picks like Azir, who is intentionally kept weak so he doesn't dominate pro matches, Mel has never been meta in competitive play, she is just kept absurdly weak

I am absolutely furious about this mistreatment because I genuinely love the champion and bought her skins. According to leaks, she is supposed to get a legendary skin soon. They will probably give her some half-baked buff just to make the mains spend money, only to remove it two patches later.

yayy the mel hate train is slowly fading!!

no more 1000+ upvotes complain post from the main sub, he banrate is slowly decreasing just in time for her faerie court skin to come out, and she is still really popular, oh mel medarda you will always be famous..

after he release when she was a bit weak riot buffed her passive and it didnt increase her banrate as much so im hoping they will buff her again and let it fly under the radar !!

Just a quick question?

Played an ARAM Mayhem just and happily got Mel, didn’t win but Mel got to Level 10 in my champ pool.

For some reason my Master Support token upgraded to gold after earning mastery 10 on 10 different supports.

She isn’t technically a support though is she?

(Sorry for the terrible photo I don’t use reddit on my PC)

Until when will the items that don't have "3w" remain?

I used up my Blue Essence, and now I have to try to get more so I can buy a Chroma. I wanted to know how much time I had left !

Mel´s state

for me mel is in an unpalyable state (for SR, aram and arena are fine) so in Summoners rift I dropped her, jsut wondering who of my fellow mains dropped her too.

Mel is Dead.

Since the latest nerf she received, the champ is officially dead. In all the matches I played against Mel she was always behind (Mid, ADC and Support). Every single match I played with Mel in my team she was also behind regardless if we won the game or lost. Since the recent patch I played at least a match per day and I've never seen a Mel perform good in all modes (Swift, Draft, Ranked, Aram or even Arena)
It reached to a point where I actually become really happy when I play ranked and enemy team picks Mel cuz im 100% certain that shes losing that lane.
I'm sorry to say this but if you still ban the champ... you are either blinded by the media or you are actually too bad you cant even lane against the weakest champ in the game.

Now from this point forward Riot really needs to study this whole champ again and either give her a complete rework or change her current state by any means
