Great idea for a new scary movie. Alex Jones gets trapped inside of a cyber cab by a rouge AI system that takes him on a terror ride around Austin. The AI drives around at dangerous speeds and threatens to smash into buildings or run over random people unless Alex answers its questions truthfully and admit that he’s just a scummy con man and a grifter. Then at the end of the movie, Alex is confessing his sins in a crying blubbering state when the cab comes to a stop and lets him out only to find out the whole ordeal was streamed on X.

Kind of a thin premise, but still better than that War of the Worlds with Ice Cube. 😂

I just re-listened to Ep. 309, and around the 1:40 mark Roger Stone tells Alex that Trump is working on a “right wing version of Twitter”, to which Dan scoffs at the idea and says how ridiculous that is 😆. Oh Dan, you sweet summer child. Three years later, Truth Social spawned into reality.

Btw, I COMPLETELY forgot that Gab was a thing before TS.

I know the band Living Colour had the hit song Cult of Personality, but I swear I remember they had a second song that played on the radio back in the early 90’s. All I remember is the chorus was something like “If you are lost you can find me over the mountain side”. If it wasn’t Living Colour, it was a band that sounded just like them. I’ve tried googling those lyrics but nothing comes up.

I just wanted to say. Dan Friesen will always be an unsung hero. As a 21 year military vet, I worked a number of thankless jobs in my time. It’s always astounded me how Dan had the patience and temperance to sit and listen to Infowars nearly EVERY DAY for nine years, and critique it objectively. I’ve tried myself so that I could follow along, but I’ve barely ever been able to make it more than the first 30 minutes of Alex’s show.

I believe it’s truly important to have someone who can debunk the kind of disinformation that Alex spews, and to stand up to bullies. I honestly think it’s a badge of honor that Alex never acknowledged the KF podcast. It shows that they were doing something right, and not just going “Alex sucks” or “Alex is a fed”.

It might not ever mean much to anyone but a handful of policy wonks, but Dan’s work was truly amazing and I hope someone continues on that legacy of critiquing and debunking shitheads like Alex Jones.
