Been dealing with dishydrotic eczema on my right hand for about a year. I’ve noticed lately that there’s no cuticle on my right pinky finger and my skin is kind of swollen around the base of the nail, and the skin seems to be receding. I do scratch/pick at my fingers a lot. Could this be a result of the eczema and my messing with it, or is it something else?
I have a ford focus, and the model’s characteristic transmission issues have been picking up lately. Before I start trying to get it worked on, does anyone have any recommendations for shops that are fair and really know their stuff on transmissions? Especially anyone else with an automatic Focus who’s had the same issue?
I’ve gone to FC Muffler and Auto a couple times for other issues and haven’t noticed any red flags, but honestly I know very little about cars and they could easily be ripping me off. I would hope that most mechanics would be familiar with these transmissions but I can’t afford to go somewhere that’ll do something useless and leave me right where I started with an empty wallet. Thanks.
