Despite how big of a deal it seems to be to a few very specific people.. it doesn't matter. there aren't currently any actual Trans women in pro sports and there likely won't be.

Politicians just want their names in your mind for midterms.

No, mr. bigass34 on YouTube isnt doing anything special or helpful by "hunting" child predators.

All that these people are doing is

1. getting themselves hit for entrapment and whatever other stupid shit they do to the 'predators' in question

2. making it harder for the actual law enforcement to do their job

3. feel special and strong because they feel like they have a reason to physically harm someone, which just makes reasonable people think theyre psychos.

It was the exact same thing with Chris Hansen back in the day. youre fulfilling your sense of immediate justice and not actually helping anyone.

When a doctor asks "on a scale of 1-10 what level is your pain?", the question is set up to fail because what the doctor defines as an 8 is going to be different than what a patient defines as an 8.

I'm chronically ill and in pain most of the time which means that my version of a 3 (the pain i experience daily) is probably different than the 3 of a person whos experiencing a brief pain in a specific spot.

Determining based off level of hindrance is the better option (1 = able to move/function and perform activities with no issues - 10 = unable to move/speak/function due to the level of pain/needing to be sedated)

of course, if youre shooting an animal to eat im fine with that. Go for it, thats why theyre put on this earth.

However the amount of people ive met who hunt purely because they like shooting an innocent animal that they cant get into trouble for is WAY too high. If youre not eating it then youre just killing animals for fun.

And frankly, so should every other person around her that didnt listen to her when she told them she was a danger.

She did everything right, she begged people for help, she told her husband that she didnt feel safe alone with their children, she even begged them to put her in an inpatient facility, and every single person around her failed her miserably.

Yes, she should obviously be held accountable, but her husband who abandoned her (and is already dating another woman mind you) and the doctors who loaded her up on medication that wasnt helping her instead of actually listening to her should be too. Her children's death was 1000% preventable.

The average person is simply not capable of being a teacher and primary provider for a child over the age of like 10. Nor are they capable/willing to provide the socialization and access to other cultures and experiences that being in a public system around peers gives them.

Your child's only experience with life shouldn't be you and what you believe.

People get so intensely steadfast in their opinions, swearing up and down that what they believe is the right answer is true.

The problem with that is that as new information begins to come out or new advances in research are made, instead of thinking "Hm, maybe my opinion isnt backed by as many facts as I thought, maybe research into the new information would help me believe something new", they bury their head in the sand and go "LALALA THE WORLD IS LYING TO ME AND ONLY ME BECAUSE IM A GENIUS"

I feel like people see it as being loyal to a cause or idea, but its just.. dumb. and tiny minded.
