24F, first time paying attention to super
Been having some conversations with my dad recently about super as he’s looking to retire soon with his super at 1.5mil, having made contributions into it since he was 25 apparently.
As I am reaching that age, super has suddenly entered my mind. Currently with rest (by default), am a teacher and have everything at a default setting. The only thing I have really gone to change before were the beneficiary settings after signing for a mortgage with my partner.
What small/quick changes could I make now to ensure I’m making the best casual decisions, what should be on my radar, and what larger actions should I plan to make in future?
Thanks in advance, apologies for the lack of education on this topic/ naivety
