How to get rid of these slipper tan lines?

Frequent use of slippers, like a lotttt (as you can probably tell 😅), has ended up causing these tan lines that stick around for a really long time. After traveling to very humid places with the same footwear, it seems to get worse and almost feels permanent.

Even after a pedicure, it feels like having a no pedicure look. The marks are an year old now and don’t fade, though I have changed my sandals a month ago, still the same.

Can't get a manicure because of my self harm cuts, any suggestions?

It’s been almost 10 years, but I still feel uneasy showing my arms because of self harm cuts. I want to get a manicure, but I’m worried about being judged or people making comments or asking questions. How do you manage situations like this or build the confidence to go anyway?

Edit: Manicure involves showing your arms for things like cream application
