Suggest be the best body wash to remove stubborn tan

I already use a glycolic acid toner for my face but if I start using it on my body too, it will be finished much faster that's why I'm looking for body wash

Most purchasers saying Chemist at Play is overhyped and doesn't help with tanning so which one should I go for? mCaffeine, The Derma Co, or something else?

Pls suggest some budget friendly options, preferably under 300 350.

Best way to tan my feet?

I’m a dude who’s got very pasty feet while the rest of my body is fairly tan. What’s the best way to tan without sitting in the burning sun for hours on end?

how do you guys stop that post-tanning redness and patchy peeling?

hey guys, quick question. i’ve been trying to get a deep natural tan this summer but every time i lay out, my skin gets so hot, red, and irritated afterward. it feels like it ruins the whole vibe and then i end up peeling patchy like a week later.

what are your go-to tips to cool down the skin right after tanning?

someone told me aloe helps a lot because it basically acts as an anti-inflammatory barrier that locks in the moisture while pulling the heat out of the upper skin layers (which prevents that uneven peeling so your tan stays smooth and even). aloe vera with coconut gel lately and it really helps soothe the redness overnight, but i’m curious how you guys maintain a perfect, even glow without turning into a lobster first. drop your routines pls!

Is it completely impossible to avoid DHA stains on white clothes/sheets? Considering going back to sunbathing.

Hey everyone, I’m at my absolute wits' end here.
I am a die-hard fan of a nice dark tan + white clothes (and white sheets), but self-tanning is making that a problem.

Literally every single product I try ends up leaving these awful yellowish-brown stains on my clothes and bedsheets no matter all the promises of transfer-free formulas.

My latest try is the St. Tropez Purity Face Mist. It’s a "clear" product, but the day after application, my favorite loose white dress was completely ruined along the neckline. Before that, I tried MineTan Workout Ready (which is supposed to be sweat-proof and transfer-resistant), but it still turned my bedsheets yellow.

I completely understand the science behind it and that it’s not a guide color issue. I know it’s the DHA reacting with my skin, and then those dead, tanned skin cells naturally flaking off due to friction against the fabric. But knowing why it happens doesn't make me hate it any less. I’m so frustrated I honestly consider just giving up and sunbathing in the actual sun at this point, even though I know the UV risks.

Before I throw in the towel, I need to know: Is there ANY way to actually get away from this happening?

A few specific questions for you experts here:
- Are 100% Erythrulose-only products worth it? I've heard that because Erythrulose develops slower and binds differently, it doesn't rub off on clothes the way DHA does. Has anyone tried DHA-free formulas and successfully worn white?
- Is a Gradual Tan a better option? Do lower percentages of DHA mean significantly less shedding/staining, or will it just ruin my clothes at a slower pace?
- What technique am I missing? I already try to wear loose clothing and it doesn’t matter if I shower or not tbh after a clear one has developed.
- Product Recommendations? If you are a white-sheets/white-clothes devotee and you have a holy grail product that genuinely has zero transfer, please drop the name below.
Help a frustrated tanner out PLEASE!

Thank you! 🙏

Best tanning salon in NYC?

Going through a breakup and trying to do a few things that make me feel a little more like myself again. I've been thinking about getting a tan, but I really don't want anything that looks too dark or obviously fake. I'm just looking for something that looks natural, lasts a decent amount of time, and doesn't cost a fortune. Has anyone found a place they actually keep going back to?

Tanning questions

So, I'm pretty white. But ive been making an effort to get more shirtless outside time in and I'm starting to tan nicely. Well, I was at Walmart and saw this stuff and googled it really quick and the internet said the the product speeds up tanning. I deliberately didnt get the "bronzer" one because (i may be wrong on this, I only started caring about tanning recently) I didnt want a fake tan. But anyway - to the point of this post:

It's spf 15. When i first googled it, it said it provides "no meaningful protection" from UV and that you should get 30 or higher. But upon googling the specifics, it says spf15 blocks 93% so I dont see how that's not meaningful.

Also, if youre blocking 93% of the UV, would it, in theory, be better to just be outside for less time with no sunscreen or more time but block 93%? Maybe I'm taking these numbers in an uneducated or too-literal sense but blocking 93% sounds like you're making the tan take longer. But the spray makes you tan.... faster?

Actually, as I'm typing this, I'm also googling more and I now see that UVB is apparently blocked 93% while still letting the UVA through which is what does the tanning. So, I suppose this really answers my question for me.

So maybe I no longer have a question. But I'm still listening if people that use these sort of products more often have thoughts on them. Thanks.

Healthy discussion? Debate? Enlighten me; consistency over anything else.

I moved recently and ran into " that generic retired white friend group who sits outside smoking , drinks in hand and talking for hours " and noticed the one guy looked fresh from vacation but on the burnt side.

I had asked them for a lighter and said " well you must have enjoyed your trip " and he kind of made a face. I said you're so tan! Immediately he owns up he goes to the tanning bed.

Fair enough. Do what you gotta.

So I saw them again recently - same scenario- and I said - I ran into you and your wife and asked about the tan / vacation - etc. I asked where he goes , how much he pays.

He elaborated enough but said he goes **5 days a week**

This man smokes on a Cuban cigar. Has to be white bread of white bread. Always wears a ball cap but he has light eyes. There's no chance in hell this man has any olive genes in his body.

Then I was thinking. First time I went to Cuba. I was DARK upon returning. I did burn. Definitely. But there was a picture beside my friend - we're both vanilla cake white as far as bloodlines. I could have passed as a Balkan ( this is all respectfully of course - I'm just curious)

What's your take!?

If we all sat outside high UV ( healthy timing of course ) weighed in on our heritage/ bloodlines , all that in check.

The man also said he doesn't use any " lotions or potions "

Again I stress doing this in a healthy manner. But is consistently going tanning , the way to actually, gradually not burn for one.

But also maintain a healthy glow?

Thoughts 💭

ETA & TLDR ; Your background- disregard! However ;
Do you believe consistency alone to UV could indeed be true? If done in a healthy way? Let's say you go tan outdoors or indoors - every other day - is that enough?
I stress again , doing this safely!!

Tan removal tips

I have never used sunscreen on my hands and this is where I stand today. Went to the beach last week and returned with a ton more tan, and the skin is peeling over rn. The difference between my hands and legs is crazy lol.

Need tips to remove tan (without hair removal 😭) and I have sensitive skin.

Edit:- I have a wedding party next month, and know that this tan is not going away anywhere sooner but need it to reduce by a month

How do I get rid of a stubborn sun tan on my arms?

I got badly tanned after going to the beach during peak afternoon sun. Recently, I also went on a trip with friends where I wore half sleeves and spent a lot of time swimming in a chlorinated pool. My arms got super tanned, and that's my biggest concern right now.

Has anyone successfully removed a tan like this?

Looking for:

  • Products that actually worked for you (budget-friendly if possible)
  • DIY remedies that genuinely helped
  • How long it took to see results

I'd really appreciate recommendations based on your personal experience. Thanks!
